Grayling fishing in the South of France
Three hours away from Barcelona on the motorway and road there is the beautiful French river Aude, located in the department of the same name. This river has a significant population of good sized grayling and brown trout. The Aude is a splendid and flowing river with many good accesses, and several "catch and release" areas that offer anglers the opportunity to capture this beautiful fish. The fishing season is from mid-May to mid-September.
The grayling in the river is mainly nymph fished but it is also possible to dry fly fish. The best fishing times are early in the season and in late summer. The process of obtaining the fishing license is carried out by the trip organisation.
